Nike tennis shoes Women

NIKE Women`s Air Max Cage

Although market offerings would indicate that women want white tennis shoes with pretty color accents female U.S.T.A. tournament players in the 16 – 18 age group were wearing anything but this weekend. Short shorts, a fitted top, black tennis shoes and ponytail are the uniform of the moment for these young women. You would never know that there are beautiful color coordinated outfits the likes of which are on-court in Indian Wells right now.

What these tournament players want is a tennis shoe with a little more edge, black and aggressive, not girly. Most were wearing men's tennis shoes. Pictured above are some of what I saw. Left to right: Babolat Team All Court Reverse, Fila Alfa II, Nike Air Court Ballistec 2.3, adidas Barricade V.

To convert a women's shoe size to a men's, you can, as a general rule, subtract two shoe sizes. For example, if you wear a women's 9 you would take a size 7 in men's.

Current black offerings as made-for-women tennis shoes are below left to right, the Prince T22 in black. and T22 in black/yellow, and the Nike Lunarlite Speed (both of the latter two are currently on sale). You can also custom-make an edgier looking shoe on miadidas.com. These might all be better choices for those women with a very narrow foot.
