Dog hit eyes tennis ball - Tennis Review

Dog hit eyes tennis ball

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jay21 Not "dog-durable" in the least I received the ball today after reading the reviews hoping that I finally found a ball that my dog wouldn't destroy. It took about 10 minutes for the ball to be ripped to shreds. This is probably the least durable ball I've tried, I'm not sure how Planet Dog could label this as "orbee-tuff". If your dog likes to chew at all, this ball will not last the day you receive it. I'm off to try to find a ball that actually delivers what is says it can do. For reference my dog is a 50lb Golden Retriever. February 26, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by StellieBeanerBean Love, Love, Love...ball, ball, ball Our Stella is a ball connoisseur and only expects the best! That would be Planet Dog. She is a German Shepard that loves to play ball and the only durable and safe one we have been able to give her is Planet Dog! We found this company about 6 years ago and haven't considered purchasing anything else since. Gentle on teeth, bouncy, lasts forever (literally!)...check the 'chew-o-meter' rating. She is a 5 and gets lots of jaw exercise and the ball keeps going. It is the first toy she prances to and lights up like a bulb each Christmas she gets a new one. PD is eco friendly and made in the USA. No toxic imports for Stella! December 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by DogRunner12 The only tennis ball that survives the gaping maw of Homer! I used to buy actual tennis balls for our dogs. Then we adopted Homer. He would chase the ball once, then run away with it and shred it to bits. So I bought some stronger 'tennis' balls, and they didn't hold up, either. Then I found these. They bounce better than tennis balls, for that thrill of pursuit, and Homer has not been able to destroy them which means he chases them more often (instead of settling in to shred them) and he gets more exercise. I'm buying more because we've lost some in the woods.but I know they are still out there and totally intact! July 12, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Trezorka Good substitute for felt tennis balls. We received this ball as a gift - I don't buy from this company because of a bad customer service experience with another toy, however, I plan to make an exception and buy more tennis balls in the future. April 16, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by july4nana Nice ball as long as dog isn't a heavy chewer My biggest problem with any ball is the hole it typically has. If it has a hole then the challenge begins. My lab mix gets her teeth in and around the hole enough to start biting off bits. Once that happens the ball is done for. Time frame = 5 minutes if she is allowed to keep the ball. Definitely would not recommend this ball to a large dog! October 16, 2014
