Canada Tennis Davis Cup
– Tennis Canada announced Thursday that tickets for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group quarter-final tie between Canada and Belgium are now available for purchase by Canadian fans. The tie will take place on outdoor clay at the Sportpark Krokodiel in Ostend, Belgium from July 17-19, 2015.
“We are so incredibly appreciative of the support we have received on the road over the past couple of years and we really want to see that continue and grow in Belgium, ” said Canadian team captain Martin Laurendeau. “Winning on the road is always a tall task but having that feeling of a home crowd behind you can make such a big difference for our players. We hope to see as many people as possible there dressed in their red and white and cheering us on.”
A limited number of seats have been allocated to Tennis Canada as per International Tennis Federation regulations. These seats are located all together directly behind the Team Canada bench and are priced at $90 CDN for the three-day series.
Fans looking to book a full travel package including flights, hotels and tickets can do so through The Supporters Section, a full service fan experience company that is organizing trip options for Canadian fans for this event. For more information about the packages available for the upcoming tie, visit the event page here, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 416-987-5752.
Canada is in the Davis Cup quarter-finals for just the second time in history after defeating Japan 3-2 earlier this year at a home tie hosted in Vancouver. The winner of this tie will advance to the semifinals against one of Argentina or Serbia in September.
