2013 Tennis seeds
(GREENVILLE, Pa.) - The Thomas More College women's tennis team has earned two No. 1 seeds for the upcoming 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Tennis Championship Tournament.
The two-day, single-elimination tournament returns to the Pennbriar Athletic Club in Erie, Pa. for the 12th consecutive year, beginning with both the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Friday (October 18) and concluding with the third-place and championship matches on Saturday (October 19).
Play begins each day at 8:30 a.m. and admission is free to the public.
Freshman earned the top-seed at No. 4 singles as she posted an 8-2 regular season record at fourth singles. Hetzer and teammate freshman earned the No. 1 seed at No. 2 doubles as they posted a 9-3 record during the regular season.
The Saints earned seeds in four other singles flights as senior earned the No. 5 seed at No. 1 with a 7-6 record, Block is the No. 8 seed at No. 2 with a 5-6 record, freshman ) had a 5-6 record at No. 5 and earned a seventh seed and freshman earned the No. 6 seed at No. 6 with a 5-6 record.
In doubles, the No. 1 tandem of Pascual and sophomore earned the No. 7 seed with a 3-9 record and the No. 3 team of McMullen and White are the No. 7 seed with a 5-7 record.
