I am a big guy, in my mid-60's, and value well-constructed, designed and stylish athletic shoes for walking & casual wear. The Brooks Ghost 7's (I bought 3 pairs) are a delight to wear because they provide excellent foot support, ample toe box, and (best of all) outstanding cushioning to greatly help ease nagging lower back and knee strain. They are just barely one step ahead of the Brooks Glycerin 11's I had purchased earlier (2 pair), another dream of an athletic shoe for the same reasons I've just listed. If you are a big guy 200+ lbs (I am 260) either the Ghost 7's or the Glycerin 11 are the athletic shoes for you!!!

The only composing I have are the shoe laces keep untying. They went to. Light weight shoe lace. Should have kept the old ghost 6 laces.
