Big tennis ball from House

Footage of members of the public launching tennis balls in to the Big Brother 2013 house has surfaced today on YouTube.

Paranoia has been rife among housemates after they found at least three messages on balls in the garden, with the latest – thrown in on Tuesday – warning Hazel that Daley had ‘slaughtered’ her in the press following his ejection.

With the house well distanced from public access and guarded by security, some viewers had suspected that producers had planted the message – while Dexter thought that we here at bbspy were responsible, speculating that we wanted to ‘change the course of the show’.

However, after a fan named Charlie Hill was reported to be the culprit in The Daily Star earlier this week, he has since uploaded a clip showing him and his family throwing tennis balls in to the Big Brother compound, located at Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire.

It shows them using a large slingshot to launch the balls, until Big Brother is heard making an announcement to the house, ordering the housemates to go indoors.

Hill had told the Star: “We just want to stir things up a bit. The security guards don’t have a chance of catching us because it takes them ages to get round to that side of the house.

“Once they do, we are already gone.”

The incident is now likely to raise questions about the current level of protection surrounding the building, which was once described as ‘more secure than Buckingham Palace’ by protest group Fathers 4 Justice after they attempted to stage a break-in in 2005.
